Traditional Methods: you can use blogs, forums, pay per click marketing, and your list to promote your product as well. These methods are used by most folks these days. But the social media adds another dimension to these methods. You should try to get involved in the social media and get the word out about your product (e.g. Twitter).

Before you go about launching your product, you should make sure your servers can handle it. It's surprising that many marketers underestimate the demand for their products and are left frustrated when their servers crash due to the demand for their product.
